Building Relationships Matters
Session information
- Title:
- Building Relationships Matters
- Description:
-
This session helps us understand that a disabled child or young person needs what all children and young people need: a stable background, continuity of care, a listening ear, opportunity and encouragement.
The word order ‘disabled children and young people’ is used in this and all the Disability Matters sessions. This is because disabling factors are most often external to the person and are therefore something that everyone in society can do something about. - Hierarchy:
- Disability Matters > Person to Person > Building Relationships Matters
